Janet qualified from Glasgow University in 2008. She did her post graduate training in Greenock where she was then asked to stay on in a busy practice, offering both NHS and private dentistry. She worked there for 11 years and enjoyed building up a great relationship with her patients. Janet has also worked remotely on the Isle of Bute before she bought over Abbeyview at the beginning of 2020. 

Janet’s favourite area of her job is the people and the satisfaction she gets daily from patient care. Janet interests are in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and dentures.  

Outside of work, Janet has three kids and enjoys walking, gardening and socialising. She also plays the drums, has an old VW beetle and regularly goes out on the back of the motorbike. 

Rachael graduated from Dundee University completing her post-graduate training in Glasgow and has been a member of the Abbeyview team since 2017. 

"I have a friendly approach to treating patients and am particularly interested in treating anxious patients. I enjoy building confidence and putting patients at ease."

Mo has worked at abbeyview dental surgery for over 15 years and is a friendly face to all our customers. 

"I enjoy travelling, watching motorbike racing and spending down time with my dogs."

I have been a Dental nurse since i was 16, I have now been qualified for over 3 years.

In my spare time i enjoy going to concerts and spending time with loved ones.

Fiona has worked at Abbeyview for 15 years, both as a dental nurse and receptionist and brings a wealth of experience to the team.

" I'm a keen hill walker and enjoy keeping fit.

I love holidays in the sun and weekend breaks away."

James for the past 10 years has been involved in many aspects of the oil and gas industry and has now decided to take a different direction as Abbeyview’s practice manager and only male team member. 

"James has a passion for motorbikes and likes to spend his spare time either watching racing or going out for a ride. Walking and DIY are amongst James’s other past times."
